Spalon procedures and protocols

For our Clients

  • Please note you will be asked screening questions prior to your appointment.

  • Name and number will be collected from all 

  • Prior to your appointment, you will be contacted to answer some simple screening questions before you come in.

  • Listen to your body.  If you're not feeling well let us know to cancel your appointment, your cancellation fee will be waived for now, and we ask that you please do not come in.

  • Take normal, healthy precautions that you would during a flu season.  Frequently washing your hands, use hand sanitizers and cover your mouth with inner arm when need to cough or sneeze.

  • When you arrive, we ask that if you are early, to please phone us and ensure we are ready for you to avoid too many people in the clinic at once as we now have strict distancing measures in effect. 

  • Arrive with a mask on, no entry into Spalon without. 

  • Unless they are being treated, no children

  • Unless they are being treated, no extra friends or family members

  • We ask that you wash your hands upon arriving and leaving our Spalon. There is hand sanitizer conveniently located throughout The Spalon and we have a sink to wash with soap/water at the back.

  • Beds, equipment and all surfaces will be sanitized after each contact following current WHO COVID-19 approved standards. Towels and pillowcases are washed between each client.

  • For the time being, we're discouraging hugs and handshakes, to keep us all extra-safe.

Changes in the Spalon:

  • All Spalon team will be wearing masks and/or face shields. (Gloves when appropriate)

  • All surfaces will be disinfected between patients with medical grade disinfectants.

  • High traffic areas will be disinfected with medical grade disinfectants throughout the day.

  • Payments will be done over the phone, contactless payment or (Invoices will be emailed)

  • All Spalon team members will be screened each day for COVID19 symptoms.

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be set up throughout The Spalon.

  • Social distancing rules will be followed by the staff whenever possible.

  • Booking of follow up visits will be done by the therapists whenever possible.

  • There are new designated waiting areas that follow social distancing rules.​

We strongly encourage online bookings to keep phone traffic down, or call with a credit card ready to book with front desk.  We are following social distancing guidelines and so the schedule will change from our regular hours based on need and space.

Please be aware effective June 1st all of our services will have a price increase, in order to ensure that we can provide you with the updated safety and quality care experience

​

Safety has also been our number priority.  These steps, along with your personal cautiousness, will help The Spalon team play our part ink eeping our commnity safe and healthy.

Excited to announce that all regulated healthcare providers have been given the go to gradually re-open. We officially re-open April 1st, 2021 with all safety precautions in place.

​

Here at Sugaring & Massage Spalon your health and safety are top priorities. As you are aware there has been a growing public health risk surrounding Covid-19 and we are closely monitoring the situation.  As a pro-health Spalon, we have always followed protocols for disinfection and disease prevention.  Given the current situation, and with guidelines from our government we have intensified our efforts around best practices for virus prevention.

 

Please understand that we have just survived one of the hardest professional and personal challenges we've ever faced.

While we are excited to open, the team is a lot of things; scared, stressed and nervous.  We are not through the woods yet.
