A day in the shoes of an Esthetician at Sugaring and Massage Spalon:

​

As an Esthetician, you are responsible for providing excellence in what you do. You are required to carry out services and be comfortable doing services for all as we work with unisex clientele. Some of the services you undertake:

  • Massages

  • Facials

  • Manicures and Pedicures

  • Brow lamination, threading, and tinting

  • Lash Extension/removals and lifting

  • Sugaring Hair Removal (no pressure, you are not disqualified if you don't do this service, but we are seeking more staff with sugaring or willingness to learn sugaring)

 

The goal in the end of the day is to have clients feeling confident in how they look, and/or have them relaxed and rejuvenated from a massage or facial service. 

​

Some other tasks you will be responsible for:

  • Following the direction and requests of the Front Desk Coordinators and Management

  • Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring schedule

  • Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner

  • Accompany clients to and from treatment rooms and thanking them on departure

  • Interview/ask clients to get the right information needed to complete the service properly

  • Advise and recommend services, treatments, and products to clients

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff

  • Clean and fold linen and towels

We do have positions that allow you to be both an esthetician and a content creator, where you can create content and posts for our social media pages as well. Skill in this field and past experience/portfolio is a plus.

Outside Sales Representative

​

Employment Type(s): Commission Based

Location(s): Hybrid/Remote in Greater Toronto Area, Ontario

Duration Of Employment: Permanent or Medium term available

Pay: Commission Based 5-10% of products/services

Schedule: 

  • 8 hours

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekends as needed

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

A day in the shoes of an RMT at Sugaring and Massage Spalon:

​

As an RMT, you are responsible for providing excellence in Massage Therapy. You are required to carry out services and be comfortable doing services for all as we work with unisex clientele. Your day (depending on your availability) starts with us messaging you when we open letting you know when your first appointment of the day is. Depending on how busy it is, you would come in and check your clients intake forms and patient files in preparation for the days appointments as well as make notes after appointments regarding any changes.  

​

The goal in the end of the day is to help clients address any issues, discomforts, or pain. 

​

Some other tasks you will be responsible for:

  • Following the direction and requests of the Front Desk Coordinators and Management

  • Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring schedule

  • Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner

  • Interview/ask clients to get the right information needed to complete the service properly

A day in the shoes of a Front Desk Personnel (FDP) at Sugaring and Massage Spalon:

​

As an FDP, you are responsible for making day to day operations run smooth at the Spalon. You are primarily the first and last face clients see when they come to the Spalon, therefore have a warm and welcoming demeanor when interacting with clientele. As an FDP you are responsible for booking clients in, managing capacity, and upselling services; all while you coordinate with management for tasks appointed and with staff to make sure they are on the same page and performing duties as required. 

 

The goal in the end of the day is for successful operations where clients, management, and staff are happy.

Some of tasks you will be responsible for:

  • Following the direction and requests of Management

  • Answer client inquiries in a professional manner over the phone by email, and by other communication streams

  • Using our booking platform to schedule appointments and processes payments

  • Work with insurance portals for insurance claims

  • Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner

  • Display excellent customer service skills and dispute management skills

  • Advise, upsell, and recommend services, treatments, and products to clients

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
